Malibu Restaurant's Ambiance Ranked One Of The Nation's Best

MALIBU, CA — One of Malibu's most famous restaurants earned the No. 9 spot in a nationwide ranking of best restaurants for ambiance by Food & Wine.

It might come as no surprise that the honor went to Nobu, the flagship restaurant from Nobuyuki Matsuhisa — who won Food & Wine's Best New Chef award in 1989.

Here's what Food & Wine had to say about the sushi hotspot: "With the stellar backdrop of the Pacific Ocean at this beachfront property, the restaurant's interior design is the epitome of sleek, showcasing natural materials that complement the stunning views of the ocean."
