Will the famous barbecue holiday be shaded by cloudy skies or prime weather for an outdoor gathering?

MALIBU, CA — Memorial Day has finally arrived, promising a much needed break, burger and trip to the beach to kick off the unofficial start of the summer. But will the weather in Malibu allow for an outdoor barbecue?
Malibu will see some gloomy weather leading up to the holiday. Friday will come with low clouds and temperatures maxing out at 66 degrees, only lifting slightly Saturday for some sunshine to creep through with a high of 64. Temperatures will remain in the mid to high 60s throughout the region Saturday.
The clouds will remain but the temperatures will rise just in time for Memorial Day in Malibu. AccuWeather forecasts a high of 70 degrees on Sunday and 71 Monday. By Monday the clouds will have parted to create a mostly sunny day.
