New Leasing Firm Looks to Add Restaurant, Retail to Malibu Lumber Yard

The Malibu Lumber Yard, owned by Glimcher Realty Trust, currently features a mix of contemporary and luxury retailers and restaurants.

The new leasing firm for the Malibu Lumber Yard hopes to lease out 1,700 square feet of available space over the next several months.

"The idea is to make it more user friendly to the community," Robert Cohen, President of RKF’s Southern California office, told Malibu Patch.

Cohen said he is focusing on bringing in more service-oriented tenants to the top floor, such as a yoga studio, a restaurant and personal care. High end retail will continue to be the focus of the bottom floor.

The Malibu Lumber Yard, owned by Glimcher Realty Trust, currently features a mix of contemporary and luxury retailers and restaurants, including James Perse, J.Crew, Intermix, Alice+Olivia, Tory Burch, Maxfield, and Café Habana.
