No Malibu Applicant For Measure ES Committee
Measure ES will provide a portion of $1 billion of needed improvements at schools in Santa Monica and Malibu.

The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District board of education appointed members of a Measure ES Committee Thursday, without a Malibu representative.
The board made its appointments and left one at large position open.
"We are still seeking a Malibu representative for the committee," district CFO Jan Maez said. "We’re leaving that one seat open."

During November's election, three Malibu candidates campaigned on the issue of lack of representation on the school board. All the current members live in Santa Monica.
