Parking Restrictions Coming to PCH Near Paradise Cove

The no parking signs are meant to increase safety along Pacific Coast Highway near Paradise Cove.

Plans were announced Monday for the installation of no parking signs along a 1,000-foot stretch of Pacific Coast Highway near Paradise Cove.

The signs will be installed within three to four weeks, “Caltrans willing,” Malibu City Manager Jim Thorsen said at Monday’s City Council meeting.

Visitors to Paradise Cove during warm days causes safety issues by families and other beachgoers parking and darting across Pacific Coast Highway to get to the popular beach spot.
