Pepperdine Honors the Victims of 9/11

A total of 2,977 flags were installed Saturday at Pepperdine University above Malibu in memory of the people who died 11 years ago in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Thousands of flags were installed Saturday in memory of the thousands who died 11 years ago in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks at .

Scores of people came to the park to see the Wave of Flags, a powerful display on Pepperdine's front lawn that features 2,977 flags, representing all the people who died in the 9/11 tragedy.
