Pepperdine to Hold Earth Day Fair
The event includes a farmer's market and the screening of the documentary "American Meat."
Pepperdine University will celebrate Earth Day with a fair and screening of the documentary "American Meat" this week.
The university's Center for Sustainability, Dining Services and the GreenTeam will host the free fair 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 at Mullin Town Square. The event, which will feature free Chipotle burritos, organic food and a farmer's market, is open to the Malibu community.
A screening of the documentary "American Meat" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 in the Elkins Auditorium. The film surveys the United States Meat Industry.
