PHOTO: Mountain Biker Rescued in Corral Canyon
Malibu Search and Rescue found the biker in the dark in Malibu Tuesday.
Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Malibu Search and Rescue helped a missing mountain biker to safety Tuesday.
The rider began a ride to the top of Corral Canyon in Malibu earlier Tuesday, but got lost in the dark, according David Katz, a spokesman for Malibu SAR.
The mountain biker was eventually located several miles away by responding rescue and patrol units using information from his GPS enabled phone, Katz said.
