Power Restored In Malibu After Outage Shut Businesses, City Hall
A power outage in Malibu shut local businesses, restaurants and City Hall Wednesday.

MALIBU, CA — Power was restored in Malibu after an outage caused traffic signal malfunctions and forced City Hall to close Wednesday.
Power was restored around 6:38 p.m. Wednesday evening, according to the Dispatch Station. City Hall opened for normal hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
The outage was first reported around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday between Carbon Canyon Road and Cross Creek Road, according to The Dispatch Station. Traffic signals were down on the state Route 1, Pacific Coast Highway, from Topanga Canyon Boulevard to Malibu Canyon, according to the city of Malibu.

Multiple restaurants and stores were forced to close Wednesday as a result of the outage, according to the Malibu Times.
