Ralphs Pulls Rat Poison From Malibu Shelves
The move, which is out of concern for wildlife in the Santa Monica Mountains, follows a request from the Malibu Agricultural Society.

[Editor's note: An earlier version of this story described the Tomcat product as having an anticoagulant. It contains the rodenticide Bromethalin, which has little to no risk of secondary poisoning to wildlife when consuming dead rodents.]
The management at Ralphs in Malibu pulled a rodenticide from its shelves following outreach from the Malibu Agricultural Society.
"We have discontinued that product from this location due to the concerns for the wildlife," said Jeffrey Keller, the assistant manager for the Ralphs at 23841 Malibu Road.
