Renewed calls for casting at Malibu High School went out this week for a reality show that will document the lives of eight teenagers from the westside of Los Angeles.
The show, "Malibu," comes from Sean Travis, executive producer of The Hills and The City.
The show, which will not be shot on school campuses, will seek to document the lives of eight juniors and seniors from Santa Monica, Malibu and Pacific Palisades through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other sites.

Auditions are being held from Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. in Santa Monica, according to an event posted on Malibu Patch by Sarah McDowd.
"If you tweet from the classroom, the party or the football game, share your favorite moments on Instagram and love to live your life out loud, then we want to hear from you! We're looking for adventurous, free-thinking, creative, exciting individuals who truly believe this will be the best summer of their lives. Come and show us what's special about you, and we'll show it to the world," McDowd wrote.
