Topanga Canyon Boulevard Closed In Malibu, Expect Traffic
A collision caused a significant road closure in Malibu Friday morning.

MALIBU, CA — A traffic collision caused closures on Topanga Canyon Boulevard Friday morning in Malibu.
The collision, which occurred Thursday around 10 p.m., involved a power pole, according California Highway Patrol. The collision closed Topanga Canyon Boulevard in both directions from the state Route 1, Pacific Coast Highway, to Fernwood Pacific Drive on Friday morning, according to the city of Malibu.
There was no time estimate on when the road would open up. Motorists were advised to use alternative routes.

Southern California Edison reported no power outages in Malibu Friday morning.
The collision prompted a Sig Alert early Friday morning around 1 a.m. It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries.
