'No Credible Threat' After Bomb Scare At Middle School: Police
The Manhattan Beach Police Department said they deployed K9s at the middle school Wednesday morning and found no threats.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A shelter-in-place order has been lifted at Manhattan Beach Middle School following a bomb threat Wednesday morning.
A teacher called police around 9:30 a.m. after a student reported having overheard another saying they had a bomb, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
Police say they performed a sweep of the middle school and deployed an explosive-detecting K-9 at the middle school. But officers found "no credible threat, police said.

Nobody was arrested, and it's unclear if the student will face any sort of disciplinary actions from the school.
A Manhattan Beach Unified School District spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Patch.
