Boxer, Graves Win Two School Board Seats In Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Cathey Graves and Jason Boxer have won the two available seats on the Manhattan Beach Unified School District Board of Trustees. Final election results released yesterday [Monday, Nov. 30] show Graves with 10,265 votes and 32.03% and Boxer, who has held second place ever since election night, has 7,693 votes and 24%.

Mike Brunick finished with 7,384 votes and 23.04%. Heather de Roos came in fourth with 6,710 votes and 20.93%.

Current MBUSD board members Bill Fournell and Karen Komatinsky are stepping down after serving for 10 or more years on the school board.
