Chili Cook-Off To Benefit South Bay Non-Profit Organizations
Kinecta Federal Credit Union is hosting a chili cook-off and community celebration to benefit two local non-profits.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Kinecta Federal Credit Union is hosting its 7th annual community celebration and chili cook-off this Saturday, July 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"This free public event features food, giveaways, raffles for valuable prizes and fun activities for the whole family! Attendees will have the chance to taste and vote for the best chili during the Chili Cook-Off," the press release said.
Kinecta will also recognize local police and fire departments for their service and dedication. Special judges will host the chili tasting, and a winner will be chosen.

Kinecta Federal Credit Union is asking attendees to contribute a $2 donation fee for food and $1 for raffle tickets. Proceeds from these contributions will benefit Hawthorne-based organizations Mychal's Learning Place and the Richstone Family Center.
The event will be at the Kinecta Federal Credit Union Manhattan Beach Branch parking lot, located at 1440 Rosecrans Ave., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266.
