Please join the City of Manhattan Beach Police and Fire Departments remember and honor the victims, survivors and first responders of the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001. The 20th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 11th at the 9/11 monument on the corner of 15th Street and Valley Drive. The ceremony will feature a Procession to Memorial and Presentation of Colors. Guest speakers include: Mayor Hildy Stern, Police Chief Derrick Abell, Fire Chief Michael Lang, and Police Captain Christian Eichenlaub.
