Conde Nast Traveler Award Goes To Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach has earned yet another distinction recently. Earlier this month, Condé Nast Traveler named the lodging accommodation in downtown Manhattan Beach as one of the "Top 20 Hotels in Southern California" in its Readers' Choice Awards for 2020.

According to a news release, "the Readers' Choice Awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry. More than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted responses rating their travel experiences across the globe. The 33rd Readers’ Choice Awards represent the first time voters made their picks at a time when almost no one was traveling."

Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach came in at number 11 in the "Top 20 Hotels in Southern California" in the publication's Readers' Choice Awards for 2020. The hotels ahead of it are in Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, Malibu, Westlake Village, San Diego and in Anaheim, the Disneyland Resort.
