Dining, Outdoor Weekend Fun: Looking Ahead In Manhattan Beach
Want to get outdoors? How about visiting the Manhattan Beach Pier, Roundhouse Aquarium, climbing a sand dune? Plus outdoor dining options!

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The weekend is basically upon us now, so here's a look at some things to do as well as a look at some new businesses that have just opened in Manhattan Beach.
- If you haven't been to The Source Cafe in Manhattan Beach, check out their Happy Hour Wednesday through Sunday from 4-6 p.m. Relax on their outdoor dining deck and enjoy $2 off glasses of wine, draft beer, hard kombucha and their selection of cans. Additionally, Happy Hour includes $10 off bottles of wine. The Source Cafe, open 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, has ample free parking behind their restaurant at 924 North Sepulveda Boulevard; (310) 921-8505.
- Champagne lovers and others who enjoy a good Sunday brunch might want to check out a rooftop affair this Sunday at Shade Hotel Redondo Beach: Rooftop Champagne Sunday Brunch At Shade Hotel Redondo Beach.
- Catch the fun ukelele playing of Jack Tracy at Tin Roof Bistro in Manhattan Beach this coming Monday, Sept. 21. He'll be on the patio from 4-6 p.m. and then in the courtyard dining area from 6:30-8 p.m. He says to make advance reservations since "it gets busy!"
- Venture out for a walk on the Manhattan Beach Pier. The Roundhouse Aquarium, at the end of the Manhattan Beach Pier, is open weekends for open-air activities outside of the aquarium and is offering aquarium animals and displays for all to enjoy.
