MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Police in Manhattan Beach have released their weekly crime summary. Here's what you may have missed.

From April 24 to April 30, there were:

  • An early-morning fight in the 2500 block of The Strand led to the arrest of a person suspected of harassing minors for riding their bicycles and then pushing a witness on April 25. Manhattan Beach police said the suspect yelled at the minors, pushed their bikes down and then kicked them. When a witness tried to intervene, the suspect pushed them as well. The suspect was taken into custody in connection after officers reviewed footage of the incident and spoke with witnesses. It's unclear what he was booked on suspicion of.
  • A suspect stole an e-bike and flip-flops after entering a parking garage in the 300 block of 41st Street around 9:39 a.m. on April 27.
  • A man led Manhattan Beach police officers on a short foot pursuit after being suspected of harassing female customers in a parking lot near the 1800 block of Rosecrans Avenue, according to authorities. The suspect was taken into custody, though it's not clear what he was booked on suspicion of.
