The city's Parks and Recreation Department will host a 4th of July Pool Party at Begg Pool, 1402 Peck Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for $5 per person. Water games, water balloon tossing, swimming and music will be part of the event and participants are welcome welcome to bring a picnic to eat on the grass area.
