Franklin, Fournell Continue Battle For 3rd Manhattan Beach Seat

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Joe Franklin continues to lead Grettel Fournell in the fight for the third and final seat on the Manhattan Beach City Council in the Nov. 3rd election. Just 83 votes in Franklin's favor separate the two. Franklin now has 14.91% of the vote; Fournell has 14.75%.

The tight race has kept Manhattan Beach residents glued to the election as ballots cast by Nov. 3rd continue to arrive and be counted. Franklin has continually been outpacing Fournell in votes in his favor after the initial vote tabulations released on election night.
