Freebie Alert: Pressed Juicery's New Menu Flavors

Pressed Juicery will be celebrating the first-year anniversary of its Manhattan Beach store Sunday, and to celebrate will be giving out samples of its new menu.

Last week, the small chain debuted a revamped menu.

Some of the flavors, such as Greens 6 (spinach, honeydew, kiwi, lemongrass, and cilantro) and the blueberry, coconut, and pear flavor were taken off due to seasonality, while others, such as the teas and chocolate coffee, were simply removed to give customers a fresh wave of beverages, such as the cold-brewed coffee and unique green and rose coconut flavors, said spokesman Devon Klug.

Pressed Juicery also listened to customer’s feedback to improve original flavors, which included adding sea salt to Greens 1.5, and changing the recipe for Greens 2 to now have carrot, kale, romaine, spinach, parsley, apple, and ginger, Klug said.

Pressed also reintroduced hugely popular Brazil Nut flavor, that was originally only a seasonal offering and is now a back for good, Klug said.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday, the Manhattan Beach outlet -- 310 Manhattan Beach Blvd. -- will be offering samples of the new flavors and giving out gift cards and prizes.
