Honor Veterans: Here's How To Watch Manhattan Beach Ceremony
The City of Manhattan Beach is honoring veterans with a special online program due to COVID-19 restrictions. Tune in today at 11 a.m.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — In place of its onsite ceremony to honor our nation's veterans, the City of Manhattan Beach has produced a virtual Veterans Day Event that will be aired for the first time on today [Wednesday, Nov. 11] at 11 a.m. on MBtv (Spectrum, Channel 8 and Frontier Channel 35), the City’s YouTube Channel @cityofmb and the Parks & Rec Facebook Page @manhattanbeachparksandrec.
The city's 23rd Annual Veterans Day Ceremony program is as follows:
- Opening comments, Mayor Richard Montgomery
- Presentation of the colors, City of Manhattan Beach Police Department Color Guard
- Singing of the National Anthem, Tracy Robinson
- Veterans Day sentiments, Mayor Richard Montgomery
- Veterans Day Keynote address, Bob Holmes, Retired Veteran
- Closing thoughts, Mayor Richard Montgomery
