Janice Hahn Hits the Campaign Trail
L.A. City Councilwoman Janice Hahn is currently seeking to take over the 36th Congressional District now that Jane Harman has officially resigned from the post.
L.A. City Councilwoman Janice Hahn is the first candidate to officially announce her candidacy for the 36th Congressional District seat left vacant by Jane Harman, who stepped down on Feb. 8.
Hahn spoke with Patch about her efforts to secure the seat, saying it's important that the seat remain in the hands of a Democrat.
Hahn also said Congresswoman Jane Harman telephoned her after she decided to relinquish the post and urged her to run for the seat.
