MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Jefferson Graham knows Manhattan Beach's finer points. The longtime resident, journalist, dad and father has spent many hours mining the beach front gold nightly sunsets bring to this slice of beachy paradise. And his daily early morning coastal walks have also given rise to moody a.m. photos.

As a special offer to Manhattan Beach Patch readers, Graham is offering his “Manhattan Beach Photowalk” collection at 20% off now through Black Friday. “I love it when things are really quiet, there are few people out and everything is peaceful,” he said. “Plus, early morning you see colors before sunrise that are pretty incredible. They go away once the sun comes up.”

Graham, who's known on social media for his morning posts, told Manhattan Beach Patch that some of his "most popular works are the rich sunset shots that show the Manhattan Beach Pier surrounded by reds, yellows and deep blues in the great magical night sky show that we get to enjoy, especially in winter."

Graham, whose journalistic work has appeared in USA TODAY, the Easy Reader, TV Guide and People magazine, is also a working local portrait photographer. He is also the host of the YouTube travel photography series “Photowalks."

Graham’s Photowalks series started on YouTube as a way to bring viewers to great places and show them where, when and how to get the best photographs of an area. The YouTube episodes include everything from installments on Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes and San Pedro to Kobe, Japan and Madrid and Seville, Spain.

In addition, Graham is available to shoot family photographs at the beach. Manhattan Beach families have long gravitated to shooting holiday photos at the beach and Graham is one of the photographers who is available to capture the spirit of the season and your family.

However, anyone out on the beach early in the a.m. in Manhattan Beach may very well find Graham taking in the moods, the mist, the sway of the ocean, the shifting of the sands. Typically, he does all of this before most of us wake up.

In early 2021, look for Graham to offer expanded, half-hour versions of the Photowalks series moving to a major streaming network. Graham’s Photowalks will take you to Portugal, the Big Island of Hawaii, the Central Coast of California, Los Angeles (from LAX to the Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Observatory to DTLA), Catalina Island and the Oregon Coast.

In addition to his photographic and technology work, Graham is the author of nine books, including the recent “Video Nation: A DIY Guide to Planning, Shooting and Sharing Great Video", as well as tomes on infomercial king Ron Popeil, the late TV legend Aaron Spelling and histories of both game shows (Come on Down!!! The TV Game Show Book) and Las Vegas, “Vegas: Live and In Person.”
