MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce has partnered with The Maloney Firm to offer a Mandatary Sexual Harassment Training tomorrow [Wednesday, Dec. 16] online from 8:30-10:30 a.m. The training fulfills California Senate Bill 1343, which requires businesses employing five or more people to provide sexual harassment training to all of their employees, including full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal employees.

The training is free for Manhattan Beach Chamber members; $10 for all others. The first hour of training is mandatory for all employees; the second hour is mandatory for all owners and management level. The initial training deadline was set for January 1, 2020, but was extended to January 1, 2021.

Each employee of a company must register separately for this program. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion once the training has been completed, according to the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce. Attendance will be taken on Zoom.
