Manhattan Beach Chamber Of Commerce Announces Its 'Best'

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Get ready to learn which finalist gets the final nod to be named "Best of Manhattan" 2020 when the awards show is broadcast this Sunday, Dec. 13 starting at 6 p.m. The 30-minute show will include two local holiday traditions that are loved and missed this year so you'll want to tune in.

COVID-19 has made 2020 a remarkable year, and as with most other businesses and organizations, the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, which usually hosts an in-person gala where winners are announced, pivoted to craft this year's awards and awards announcements.

This year, community members got to vote once [they usually vote during several iterations], with the top three finalists and ultimate winners pulled from that solo voting opportunity. The top three finalists in each category for the Best of Manhattan 2020 awards have been nominated by the public and that first round of votes. The three businesses that received the most nominations in each category became the finalists. The finalist that received the most nominations in each category, will be announced as the winner.

In addition to the announcement of the winners in each of the six public-voting categories, the Chamber Member of the Year will be announced, and there will be a special recognition of the First Responders in Manhattan Beach.

Dubbed "A Toast of the Top," the distinctions for 2020 will be awarded in the following categories, to one of the three nominations listed:
