Manhattan Beach's College Scholars

College students from Manhattan Beach are making the grade, with several achieving grades of accomplishment.

Alexander J. Dodge was named to the McDaniel College spring 2013 Dean's List with High Honors. High honors are awarded for a grade-point average of 3.70-3.89.

Taylor Haught-Frazier earned a spot on the Gonzaga University President's List for spring semester 2013. To make the list, a student must have a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average.

Molly Heutmaker and Christine Keever made Gonzaga University's Dean's List for spring semester 2013 by earning a 3.5 to 3.69 grade-point average.

Alexandra Pacini was named to the Spring 2013 Dean's List at Wake Forest University. Students who achieve a 3.4 grade-point average and no grade below a C are named to the list.

Allison Shuck has been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for Spring 2013. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, students must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above for the semester.

McDaniel College is a four-year private college of the liberal arts and sciences with 1,600 undergraduates and 1,560 part-time graduate students. The college offers more than 70 undergraduate programs of study and 25 graduate programs. Its campus in Westminster, Md., an hour or less from Baltimore, D.C., the Chesapeake Bay, the Amtrak station and BWI international airport, is a 160-acre hilltop campus. 

Gonzaga University, a private Catholic, Jesuit and humanistic university, is situated along the Spokane River near downtown Spokane, Washington, and offers 75 fields of study, 25 master's degrees, a doctorate in leadership studies, and a Juris Doctor degree through its School of Law t more than 7,500 students.

Founded in 1743, the University of Delaware, includes nearly 17,000 undergraduates, 3,700 graduate students and 850 students in professional and continuing studies.
