MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- A Manhattan Beach community theater is celebrating 60 years of entertaining the community with a Broadway medley, according to the Beach Reporter.

Manhattan Beach Community Church's theater program will mount "Encore! 60 Years of Love & Theater" to showcase 60 years worth of theater history in Manhattan Beach.

“‘Encore’ tells a story not only the history of our theater, but also the history of how a show like the ‘The King & I’ or ‘The Sound of Music’ was originally created by Rodgers & Hammerstein,” producer Steve Campbell, who is also the show’s narrator, told the Beach Reporter.
