Manhattan Beach Election: Napolitano, Montgomery, Fournell Lead
Incumbents Steve Napolitano and Richard Montgomery are in the lead with newcomer Grettel Fournell in third.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — In its second report of the night, the Los Angles County Registrar-Recorders/County Clerk's office shows two incumbents and a newcomer leading in the race for three open seats on the Manhattan Beach City Council.
So far, incumbents Steve Napolitano and Richard Montgomery are in first and second, respectively, and newcomer Grettel Fournell is in third. Napolitano has 23.25% of the vote with 9.593 votes; Montgomery has 19.13% with 7,895 votes, and Fournell has 15.31% with 6,319 votes.

In a slight reversal after some Vote Center ballots were added into the Vote By Mail ballots, newcomer Phoebe Lyons moved from fourth to fifth place, taking 13.22% of the vote with 5,454 votes. Joe Franklin, who had been in fifth under Lyons, moved ahead into fourth place with 14.14% and 5,835 votes.
Mark Burton remains in sixth place with 11.81% with 4,874 votes and Chaz Flemmings has 3.14% and 1,296 votes.
