MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Manhattan Beach Police and Fire Departments are hosting a public safety open house on Saturday to give insight to the community about emergency services.

The event will start at 10 a.m. and go until 2 p.m. at the police and fire facilities on the corner of 15th Street and Valley Drive. Guests will be able to meet members from different MBPD and MBFD departments.

Guests can expect to see Fire Fighting and SWAT/K9 demonstrations as well as displays of various service vehicles. Jail and Fire facilities will also be open for guided tours.

The Zimmerman Museum is providing antique police and fire truck rides in the City Hall parking lot. City officials will speak at the event at 10:30 a.m.

Happy Chef Catering will be serving tacos and Handel's will be serving ice cream to attendees.
