Manhattan Beach Launches Pilot Free Shuttle Program
The shuttle will service the downtown area in hopes of easing traffic and parking congestion there.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- To combat traffic and parking congestion, the city of Manhattan Beach this week launched a free electric vehicle shuttle program, according to the Beach Reporter.
The City Council approved the pilot program last June in response to the growing concern over congestion in the city.
The shuttle is free to anyone who wants to travel to downtown Manhattan Beach. The shuttle will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, according to the Beach Reporter. The six-month pilot service will serve El Porto to First street and from the Pier to Pacific Avenue, the Beach Reporter reported.
