MANHATTAN BEACH, CA -- A power outage that struck Manhattan Beach on Wednesday night was caused by a damaged power line, Southern California Edison said Thursday.
The outage was reported around 9 p.m. Wednesday, SCE spokesman Paul Netter. About 4,350 customers were without power at the peak of the outage but power was restored to all affected customers by 11 p.m., he said.
Outages were reported throughout the city, but mainly in the downtown area and Tree section, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
