Manhattan Beach: Watch First Bruce's Beach Task Force Meeting
The first meeting of the newly appointed Bruce's Beach Task Force is live tonight on Zoom and open to the public to watch.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The Bruce's Beach Task Force officially gets off the ground tonight Tuesday, Oct. 27] from 6-7 p.m. with its first meeting since appointments were made one week ago by the Manhattan Beach City Council. The task force is comprised of 13 Manhattan Beach residents and two alternates, and is overseen by council members Hildy Stern and Steve Napolitano.
At its meeting last Tuesday night, council selected the task force members who are charged with addressing the history of Bruce's Beach and making recommendations to council as to how to commemorate the accurate history of the park and surrounding area.
The agenda for tonight's meeting is a welcome and introductions segment followed by an "Objectives and Council Direction" segment. Each task force member will note how long they've lived in Manhattan Beach and express in one word what they hope to achieve by being on the task force. Other agenda items include "Plaque," "Art," "County coordination," "Forum" and "Other items and issues."
