"Parents are becoming more aware of the strong correlation between EQ skills and future success in life, as well as improvement in social skills and behavior," EQtainment CEO's Erica Buxton said in a statement last year when she was hired.

EQtainment was founded in 2014 by Sofia Dickens when she couldn't find content and games to teach her own children emotional intelligence.
