Netflix, DreamWorks Announce Partnership

Netflix will become the exclusive home of original shows produced by DreamWorks Animation, the studio behind "Shrek," "Madagascar" and "Kung Fu Panda," under a multi-year deal announced Monday.

According to the companies, the agreement is the largest deal for original content in Netflix history. The deal is expected to include more than 300 hours of original programming, with shows inspired by past and future DreamWorks films.

The first DreamWorks series is expected to debut in 2014.
