Nordstrom To Open Local Service Hub In Downtown Manhattan Beach

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A Nordstrom Local service hub is coming soon to downtown Manhattan Beach, the company announced yesterday from its Seattle, WA headquarters. The 1,886-square-foot Nordstrom Local Manhattan Beach will be located at 451 Manhattan Beach Boulevard.

"Opening Nordstrom Local service hubs in the Los Angeles area is part of the continuation of our market strategy in one of our largest markets to provide customers with greater access to merchandise selection and faster delivery while increasing convenience and connection through our services," said Ken Worzel, chief operating officer at Nordstrom. "Nordstrom Local customers who engage with our services at a Local, including curbside pick-up, returns, alterations and styling, spend more than two-and-a-half times compared to other customers."

Nordstrom Local Manhattan Beach customers will have access to the following services:

• Order Pickup: Order from Nordstrom.com, NordstromRack.com or HauteLook.com and pick your order up in your neighborhood.
• Contactless Curbside Pickup: Place an order online and choose curbside pick-up. Norstrom Local staff will bring your order out and place it in the trunk of your car when you arrive.
• Fast and Easy Returns: Drop off your returns from Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Haute Look, Trunk Club and other online retailers, and Nordstrom will take care of the rest.
• Styling: Nordstrom's expert stylists, at no cost, will help with everything from styling tips to helping advise on a complete wardrobe refresh.
• Gift wrapping: In addition to complimentary signature silver boxes, Nordstrom Local offers complimentary gift-wrapping for all Nordstrom purchases. Gift-wrapped items can also be picked up in-store or via Curbside Pickup. All gift wrap is 100% recyclable. Non-Nordstrom purchases can be wrapped for $8 per package.
• BEAUTYCYCLE: Customers can bring in empty beauty packaging to be recycled for free with Nordstrom BEAUTYCYCLE.
• Clothing donation drop-off: In support of Nordstrom's commitment to local communities, customers can bring in their gently used fashion for drop-off at the Nordstrom Local donation box, which will be distributed to a local non-profit.

The Manhattan Beach Nordstrom Local will be the fifth Nordstrom Local to open in the Greater Los Angeles area. A Newport Beach Nordstrom Local will open on Friday, Nov. 6. Ther other LA Nordstrom Locals are on Melrose and in Brentwood and Downtown Los Angeles. Nordstrom Local can also be found in New York City on the Upper East Side and in the West Village.
