Pavement Replacement In Manhattan Beach Causes Lane Closures

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Traffic will be reduced to a single lane Wednesday on Aviation Boulevard in Manhattan Beach due to pavement replacement work.

Public Works crews will be removing and replacing the pavement between Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Space Park Drive starting at 9 a.m. Two of the southbound lanes will be closed for the duration of the work, leaving just one lane open.

Travelers were advised to use alternate routes to avoid traffic in the area.

Lanes are expected to be re-opened at about 7 p.m.
