In-Person Voting Centers Now Open In Manhattan Beach Area

Locals can drive to Playa del Rey, Hawthorne and Lawndale to vote in-person before in-person voting centers open in Manhattan Beach Oct. 30.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Three in-person vote centers for the Nov. 3rd election opened last Saturday and will remain open through Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Los Angeles County. Manhattan Beach's two in-person vote centers will open this Friday, Oct. 30.

Dockweiler Youth Center, Del Aire Park and Four Points by Sheraton LAX are open daily for voting from 10 a.m.-7 pm. and then open on Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Dockweiler location is at 12505 Vista del Mar, Playa Del Rey, 90293; Del Aire is at 12601 Isis Ave, Hawthorne, 90250, and Sheraton LAX at 9750 Airport Blvd, Los Angeles, 90045.

At Dockweiler, voters will vote in Community Rooms, A, B and C; at Del Aire in the gymnasium, and at Sheraton LAX in the San Diego Ballroom, according to LAVOTE.net.

Beginning Friday, Oct. 30, the following two in-person vote centers will be available in Manhattan Beach:

  • Joslyn Community Center, 1601 North Valley Drive.
  • Manhattan Heights Park Community Center, 1600 Manhattan Beach Boulevard.

The two in-person vote centers will be open Friday, Oct. 30 through Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 through Monday, Nov. 2; and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3rd.

Currently, voters can drop their completed ballots into one of two 24-hour dropbox locations in the city:

  • the Manhattan Beach Library, 1320 Highland Avenue.
  • the Manhattan Beach Arts Center, 1560 Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
