Another great event took runners from the south end of town to the pier, with hills in between.

The Manhattan Beach 10K seemed to go off like clockwork this morning at 7:30 a.m. The race was started with the Mira Costa High School Choir singing the National Anthem.

The race brings each year to Manhattan Beach about 5,000 runners who enjoy the hilly course that ends with a stretch along the Strand to the Manhattan Beach Pier.
