Manhattan Beach Police Respond To 'Shots Fired' Call In El Porto
Manhattan Beach Police have issued a Nixle alert asking residents to stay inside their homes in the area of Ocean Drive and Shell Street.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach Police say the 'shots fired' situation is no longer a threat to residents in the area of Ocean Drive and Shell Street in North Manhattan Beach. The department issued a Nixle alert around 7:30 a.m. to say police activity in the area had ended.
Earlier, MBPD responded to a "shots fired" call, asking residents to stay inside their homes around 4:50 a.m.

Manhattan Beach, CA — The Manhattan Beach Police Department has responded to a "shots fired" call in the El Porto area and is asking residents in the area of Ocean Drive and Shell Street in North Manhattan Beach to stay inside their homes, according to a Nixle alert issued around 4:50 a.m. Police are still in the area and have a perimeter set up.
