Police Looking for Women Who Took Items from Alley
The victim had left the items unattended in the alley.
Two women seen on video surveillance taking items in an alley and placing them in a pickup truck bed are wanted by the Manhattan Beach Police Department for questioning, according to an alert on the department's Nixle account.
The incident occurred on July 28 when the victim left several personal belongings unattended on the ground in an alleyway behind a home in the 200 block of The Strand.
In the video, two women, described as hispanics 35-45 years of age, 5'4"-5'6" in height, heavy set with brown hair, are seen exiting a dark-colored Ford four-door pickup truck and then driving away southbound on Ocean Drive after putting the items in the truck bed.

Police say the vehicle appeared to have unfinished paint varnish on its hood, and that inside the truck bed were boxes and storage items.
