Police Renewing Call to Help Find Missing Manhattan Beach Woman with Alzheimer's
Nancy Paulikas, 55, was last seen about 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Police on Tuesday are renewing the call for the public's help in locating a woman with Alzheimer's disease who disappeared from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art more than three months ago.
Nancy Paulikas, 55, was last seen about 3 p.m. Oct. 15 at the museum at 5905 Wilshire Blvd., according to Manhattan Beach police.
She is white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, about 140 pounds, with a thin build, light complexion, brown-gray hair and blue eyes. She last was seen wearing a red long-sleeve blouse with a white paisley-flower pattern, blue jeans and navy blue sneakers.

Paulikas is in good health and able to walk long distances without tiring, but does not communicate well, according to Manhattan Beach police Detective Paul Ford. She is very highly-educated and an accomplished professional but the condition has left her at the developmental stage of a 4-year-old, Ford said.
County Supervisor Janice Hahn said early-onset Alzheimer's left Paulikas with little ability to communicate, and her family fears she might be in a residential care center as a Jane Doe.
