Preliminary Results For Beach Cities Health District Election
Three seats are open on board of directors for Beach Cities Health District. Two Manhattan Beach residents are running vs. three incumbents.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Early results in the election for three open seats on the Beach Cities Health District Board of Directors show Manhattan Beach residents bookending the candidate field, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk's office.
Dr. Martha Koo of Manhattan Beach is in the lead with 23.33% of the vote with 23,926 followed by incumbent Vanessa Poster with 22.92% with 23,505 votes; incumbent Jane Diehl with 22.28% with 22,850 votes, and incumbent Vish Chatterji with 19.88% with 20,390 votes. Karen Komatinsky, who has served on the Manhattan Beach Unified School District board for 10 years, has 11.58% of the vote with 11,871 votes.
BCHD serves the residents of Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach.
