Redondo Beach Man Arrested on Suspicion of Possessing Child Porn

REDONDO BEACH, CA -- A Redondo Beach man working as crossing guard in Manhattan Beach was arrested Thursday, accused of possessing child pornography on his computer, the Daily Breeze reported.

Robert Anthony Portillo, 29, was arrested following a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to the Daily Breeze.

Officers searched his home, which he shared with his mother, in the 2300 block of Clark Lane, and confiscated several devices, the Daily Breeze reported.

Police did not disclose which devices or computers investigators took from Portillo's home. He is suspected of possessing more than 600 images of young and prepubescent children, according to the Daily Breeze.
