Residence Inn Shooting: Wife Allegedly Shot At Husband, Woman

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A 33-year-old woman has been charged with shooting at her husband and a woman he was with in a Manhattan Beach hotel parking lot, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced today.

Sharday Ebony Tinker of Culver City faces two felony counts of attempted murder and one felony count of shooting at an occupied motor vehicle.

Deputy District Attorney Emily Chai said case YA102507 includes allegations of using a handgun and having prior felony convictions.

Tinker pleaded not guilty to the charges yesterday and is scheduled to return on October 23 for a preliminary hearing in Department 8 of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Torrance Branch.

On September 8, the defendant is charged with driving up to a parked vehicle and shooting at her husband and a woman who were both inside the car, the prosecutor said.

If convicted as charged, Tinker faces a possible maximum sentence of 54 years to life in state prison. Bail is set at $2.2 million.

The case remains under investigation by the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
