Saint & Second Opens New Location In Manhattan Beach: 'As Thoughtful As It Is Inviting'

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A modern American restaurant known for its locally sourced cuisine and craft cocktails has opened a new location in Manhattan Beach.

Saint & Second opened its new location in Manhattan Village on July 21, bringing its signature blend of American cuisine to the South Bay for the first time. The restaurant, owned by the Hofman Hospitality Group, also has locations in Long Beach and Topanga.

The menu is similar to its other locations, and delivers the same "dedication to craft and quality," restaurant officials told Patch in a statement Tuesday.

"Expect chef-driven, seasonal fare made with locally sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible, alongside a thoughtful selection of artisanal spirits, including hundreds of curated whiskies and organic cocktails," restaurant officials said. "Saint & Second offers a come-as-you-are experience rooted in creativity, community, and California flavor."

As a result of a collaboration with local California artists, the new location captures local beach culture, with film photos, paintings of native birds and other curated art referencing the Golden State on the inside of the restaurant, according to the company.

"In the private dining room, you'll find many of the same references in the bookcase as well as a ceiling fixture crafted by Ryan Hofman from antique decanters converted into lights —tying back to the restaurant's renowned bar program — adding a personal, handcrafted touch to a space that feels as thoughtful as it is inviting," according to restaurant officials.

Saint & Second is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Saturday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to midnight. There is a brunch special on the weekends from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a social hour on weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m.
