Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested In Manhattan Beach: Police
The assault happened early Wednesday morning in the 1400 block of Ocean Drive, according to police.
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — A 25-year-old Los Angeles man has been arrested after sexually assaulting someone in Manhattan Beach early Friday morning, according to authorities.
Police say the man followed another person from the 100 block of Manhattan Beach Boulevard to the 1400 block of Ocean Drive sometime before 1:30 a.m. and sexually assaulted them.
The man was taken into custody at around 1:37 a.m. on suspicion of forcible penetration, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department. Police identified the man as Geovanny Martinez.

The MBPD asks that any witnesses or community members who may surveillance video of the area at the time of the crime contact the department at eyewitness@manhattanbeach.gov or detectives at 310-802-5126.
