Superintendent Thanks Veterans Working At Manhattan Beach Schools

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA —

MBUSD Community,

We recently polled our staff to see if any of our employees are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. We are proud to share that the following MBUSD staff have served our country. We are truly grateful for their service and we are thankful that they have chosen to dedicate their civilian lives to education and improving the lives of our students. So on Veterans Day, please honor these veterans and all the veterans of our Armed Forces.

• William D. Brown, English Teacher at Mira Costa - Field Artillery in the U.S. Army
• Ben Dale, MCHS Principal - Military Intelligence in the U.S. Army Reserve
• Kennith Dixon, Special Education Assistant (IBI) - Field Radio Operator attached to an Artillery Unit
• Christopher Gorlero, Security at Mira Costa - Scout in the U.S. Marines, awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart
• David Gutierrez, Special Education Teacher at Mira Costa - U.S. Marines
• Robin Page, Senior Accountant at the District Office - Accountant in the U.S. Army
