Surfer Shadows Loom Large In Manhattan Beach: Photo Of The Day

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Getting down to the ocean for seashore walks has been high on Manhattan Beach resident Cathy Hough's "to do" list. On a holiday break from work, she has been taking advantage of the free parking in Manhattan Beach to enjoy daily walks heading north from the Manhattan Beach Pier.
Shore birds, seashells, surfers, sand — all have been capturing her attention. In the photo, she shot surfers heading into the ocean to catch some waves in Manhattan Beach on Christmas Eve day 2020.
